Implant Supported Denture

The video illustrates the process of securing a removable denture using dental implants to significantly enhance stability and function. The procedure begins with the surgical placement of a minimum of two to four titanium implants into the jawbone, followed by a critical healing period called osseointegration. Once healed, specialized attachments, such as locator abutments, are connected to the implants, allowing the custom-made overdenture to firmly snap into place, thus eliminating slippage and improving chewing ability compared to conventional dentures.
